Ok, giant bird is in the oven. I looked at it and told DH taht we are obviously used to commercial birds!ROTFL! I don't think there was a 'pouch' in it (DH does all this stuff and I just leave the room!ROTFL!). There were bits and pieces still stuck in it. Nothing horrdendous, but I wasn't expecting that after the total smoothness of commercial birds, yk? I have no idea when it will be done. A long time ago I bought 'poppers' cuz we always buy the cheap birds that don't have them. But one thing said 6.5 hours and another said 4--that's a pretty big discrepancy!ROTFL! I do have a meat thermometer so I'll get that out and make sure it's done. We get that thing cleaned up (which again, is DH's job and I have a sneaky feeling that it's going to get done LONG before he gets home. Grrrrrrr) and then I"m out for a crop. I'll be late, but I get to go! Then a simple dinner (something w/turkey--probalby just like lunch!LOL) and off to T&T!
