![]() New York CityCan I legally put the boys in teh basement and lock them in? I think I've figured out that JOey's lashing out at not seeing DH. But he's just A MESS! He cries about EVERYTHING nad I"M SICK OF IT! I don't know what to do. He wants to email Dh and I"m all for that. But mat gets near him and Joey SCREAMS. HELLO! NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR THAT SHRIEKING! Today he was upset that Mat got to pull the tag at the BMV. Then he was upset that the corn we scavengered from the neighbor's field went into MAT"S bucket (THERE WERE NOT ASSIGNED BUCKETS!) and it just goes on and on and on and on and on. The 30+ min that it took for me to order pics at Walmart was sooooooooooooo pleasant. Joey didnt' scream, but they get to messing w/the cart (30 min is a long time). But the whole pooping thing was a riot. He wanted to switch stalls in the middle of it. NO! An eldery lady was talking to me. I thought she said that she was new to the country, but she spoke very fluent English w/no accent. She was kind of laughing about Joey, but she couldn't maket he water work so I had to put MY hand in front of the sensor so that it would stay running (the automatic toilets scared her I think she said) and then she couldn't figure out how to pull the paper towel down. Fine. She keeps going on and on about not being from here and how she thinks they foudn the family taht they are looking for, etc, etc so I ask where she's from. NEW YORK CITY! I said, well this certainly must be a change for you. I don't know why it struck me like it did, but it took everything I had not to burst out in complete laughter. Just the whole concept of me thinking that this elderly lady who's not been out of NYC (which I'm sure is not true) walking about in this teeny, tiny town and totally marveled at the different lifestyle. But I was floored--I mean surely they have auto toilets/water and such in NYC? Gave me a good laugh anyway.;) Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 432 of 1787 } { Next Page } |
