Happy Sweetest Day and a YUMMO supper!

Supper was THE BOMB. Ok, I know very little about steak and followed the 30yo Betty Crocker cookbook to a T (including getting out a ruler and measuring the steak!LOL) and the steaks were GOOD! So were the potatoes, but I'm a pro at those. ;)

So I get the broiler all cleaned up (which was not fun even tho I sprayed hte entire thing w/Pam AND used the hose on it since the sprayer nozzle was on it when I was outside dumping the bones) and plop on the bed to read a chapter while the guys were all outside and noticed the book had been moved. I then notice something UNDER the book. DH GOT ME A STARBUCKS GIFT CARD! It said Happy Sweetest Day on it! I nearly FELL OVER DEAD! GO ME!!!!!!!!

Your dh is so thoughtful! I've never even heard of Sweetest Day before! Enjoy that Starbucks!

Wow, how sweet and thoughtful of your hubby! I've heard of Sweetest Day, but have never known what month/day it falls on, needless to say we have never really celebrated it at our house.

And your supper sounded great. :)
