Coop, Alpaca farm and MRSA

Joey busted us TWICE last night. Bugger would NOT go to sleep. I was NOT happy!LOL Not only for the interruption,b ut because it was nearly 11 and HE"S SUPER CRANKY today!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was the last day of Friday school (sort of!LOL). The civil war class is having a re-enactor come in and bring his cannon! So even tho today was the last day, he's coming next Friday to show us. After Friday school,  we had an Alpaca farm tour. Pretty neat. I had no idea that Alpaca were so interesting!LOL And we learned of a Fiber Festival and a new yarn shop. I can't knit or crochet AT ALL (and not from lack of trying), but oh were they soft! We were gone from 8:30 until nearly 3. So I"m beat. I have corned beef simmering for supper. We're having steamed veggies and fried potatoes w/it. I also 'hemmed' (w/stitch witchery!LOL) the new pants that I bought. They are SUPER flared leg, but once I hemmed them, they look awesome w/the sweater that I bought it for and they look great w/my black dress 'sandals' and my boots!

Also the MRSA virus is close to home here. For those that don't know, it's the super bug and now some strains are resistant to Abx. It's killing ppl (young and old alike from what I gather).  I'm pretty conspiracy theorist when it comes to the health care community and I think there is ALOT that they aren't telling us. We know that some strains of MRSA are resistant to ALL Abx, so how does disinfecting the school do any good? Does it really kill it?
