new happenings!

Well in the past little bit, I've learned all kinds of things! Some not good--there were several bombs threats locally as schools and Walmart! I didn't get all the details as I had to get the other line. We hadn't heard from the ppl who usually buy our other pig (which pays for butchering fees!) and they had called back to say that YES! they wanted the pig. WHEW! We can easily get rid of it, but it's just one more thing to cross off the list.

The boys are enjoying the mild weather and the garden is seriously winding down. We're letting Mat's gourds go as long as possible and I know DH will be happy to mow the patch of grass that they have overtaken.;) The asparagus still looks awesome. We are down to 1 tomato plant about maybe 6 pepper plants. The boys and I got enuf peppers for tomorrow's supper and some tomatoes. I need to go start supper.

I don't know what happened, but my headache is subsiding. I know this is weather related and I sort of hate being at the mercy of the weather! However, I"m thankful to know what it is and that it's not life threatening.
