I've might of asked this before but I'll ask again. I don't get how to shape bagels and we love them. Can you mix them and rise them in a bread machine then take them out cut shape or what ever you do too them? Are you going to post recipe? I would love basic instructions baby steps lol haflinger

My recipe is one of the 1st ones listed under my recipe category.
AFA shaping them, I just roll them out like it says and knead the ends together to form a circle. It's like playing w/playdough.
I've never used a bread machine (I have a KA stand mixer), but I don't know why you wouldn't be able to mix the dough in that.
Please ask away. I've been making them for a year or so and personally I use a 7 grain bread flour and add flaxmeal. So there are not only nutritous, but also delicious!LOL Seriously, I love these things and really won't eat any other kind of bagel but my own!LOL
