August grocery challenge

As I was getting caught up online, I was reminded of my August grocery challenge. I have to say that they grocery part is great. Still well under $30 for the month...........other spending went thru the roof this past week, but that was to be expected under the circumstances.

I need to buy food for the boys' joint bday party w/their niece this Sunday and I do need to stock up on some things that we are totally out of. But I know I will easily be under the $100 goal that I had for the month. I mean there ARE only 8 days left!ROTFL!

I have been offline for a long time.
I'm just trying to get caught up with some of my friends.
I'm impressed with your grocery challenge. How exactly do you keep costs so low. Is it because your pantry is already stocked?
I was very sad when I read about your MIL. I lost my MIL last September. May God bless your family through this time.
