Welcome to Dana's blog! | |
![]() SUnday!WAHOO! I got to see my brother and his family! ANother long day. I'm getting quite good w/the nail gun tho!LOL I convinced Joey (who seems to be the one who mandates where we eat after lunch) to go for gyros instead of tacos. SO that was nice--I LOVE their greek salads! My dad's pretty upset about a rather influential person back home paying off the surveyor so that he'll rule in his favor (ditch disputes) and while my entire family was at this greek place (we are nice and go invade this one semi secluded area!LOL) I heard my mom say to my dad, but dear, what more could you possibly want than this? I'm sure that I could gage my dad's remark!LOL But I do think it helped his mood. Meanwhile the boys we were offering the boys to ppl as they walked out the door!LOL Then back to my sister's and my sister and I got the cedar put up in their closet and there was enuf left for the little closet in the bathroom (so now all 4 closets have cedar!) And there is still an unopened box and scraps! They've cleaned quite a bit, but drywall dust just does not ever go away!LOL So the boys were dragging each other around as human swiffers and Mat drug Joey over an (unfinished) threshold from tile to laminate and Joey whacked his head. But he was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too dramatic. He laid around the rest of the night and felt a bit warm and he had a 100.6 fever. Mom came back w/pizza and DH finished hanging the curtain rods in their bedroom and we took off. It was 8:30 when we got home and Joey's fever (by my very old therm) was 99.6 and his eyes were blood shot. So I don't know if he's just SUPER TIRED (which could very well be) or if he's got allergies from all teh dust or what. He fell asleep on the way home and says that his stomach doesn't hurt so I'm praying that it doesnt'!LOL A quick inspect of t he garden adn I need a cream of broccoli recipe for TOMORROW! I've got enuf to do it! And AWW's going to give me a head of cabbage. And I think by early next week, we'll have plenty of green peppers for stuffed peppers!!!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow we hit the ground running w/laundry and school (if Joey's OK). Mat's been told not to dawdle! We've got summer reading program party adn VBS tomorrow night!
