My afternoon out

I mentioned something to Dh last night about going to the beauty college today and he said that I didnt' need to go. It took me a minute to figure out what he was saying!ROTFL! I told him that I was going anyway!LOL

It's always a gamble how things will go there, but the positives by far outweigh the negatives. The lady who started my pedi was AWESOME!!!!!!! She needed to leave and all that was left was to paint my nails. No biggie. I THINK THE GIRL HAD A VISION PROBLEM! Mat could've done a better job than she did! I"m not kidding! And she offered me the orange stick and file and I was thinking, I've told you TWICE that ppl were stepping on them! Now why on earth would I want them??????? So I'll fix my toes tonight. And I have a little scrape on my toe that I forgot about............until she put the nail polish removed on!ROTFL!  Then a 3rd lady did my brows. She did a good job, but left wax all over my face. And they use SCOTCH TAPE now to remove the wax! I do say that the pain wasn't any less than cloth, but it was just more pleasant overall.

I was in town and wanted to get Dh a new shirt for our anniversary. I asked him twice what he wanted and didn't get an answer so he's getting a shirt!LOL But to get to where I wanted to buy the shirt, I passed the shoe store..........last time I was there I had seen the cutest strawberry shortcake fake robeez. My sister LOVES SS and they were only $5, but I didn't buy them. So I whipped it in and they still had them so I called and she still wanted them. They also had the denim/fake canvas wedges that I wanted to buy last time! The sales associate came over and I asked if they were still running there BOGO1/2 and she said no.;( I must've acted hestitant or something and she said that she could take 10% off!!! I didn't jump on it (sorry, I'm a negiotator at heart) and instead hemmed a bit more (I was trying to remember how much was in the checkbook!LOL) and decided to just get them.

Then off to the shirt place. I finally found the kind of shirt I wanted (wrinkle resistant!LOL) and they look like they run big which means that DH would go either way in sizes. So I bought one of each and found an adorable 3/4 length button up for me (in pink and browns which is the CLOSEST I will EVER get to wearing pink!) for $6! DH's shirts were $10.88, which still wasn't bad. One of them rang up (the one I like and the one that I think will fit) for $6.50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The other one was still $10.88, but he'll be in town next week and can return whichever or hunt for a different one if he wants. I was pretty thrilled tho w/my buys!
