Joey and the skipping..........

I've convinced myself that we are riding together. I will argue that there is no sense in spending the money on gas--cuz there is NOT. And DH's meeting next week got moved so he's going to find out on Friday what the deal is and if it's a room to himself, my family will take the boys and I'm going with him!!!!!!!!!!!! My parents have work for Mat to do and he's dying to start earning his money. I'm pretty proud of him tho. We were discussing the fact taht he now has NO WALLET to store money in and he said that $6 (what he's already up too......) will be plenty to buy a new one. I said especially if you wait until you find one on clearance. He then said that it would probably be smarter to just ask for one for his bday (8/17)! YES IT WOULD SON!!!!!!!

And my mom saw the asst pastor (who was in charge of his church camp) Thursday and she sang lots of praises about Mat. Not sure I believe them all, but I'll take them!ROTFL!!!!!! YK, things like how mature he acts, good decision, friendly, etc, etc. (like I said--not sure if I believe them!LOL)

So today was nice really. It was a VERY hectic morning--I had 100 things to do it seemed--pick beets for my parents, empty the dishwasher, get the offering together (this is hard and I usually forgeta nd have to get it there another day!LOL), dress both boys, pack all of us, etc, etc. The boys were fighting like cats and dogs over bfast bars so DH says that I am not to buy anymore (to the boys). I was thinking UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! They use them as snacks and sometimes actually for bfast. Little does he know there are 4-5 boxes in the cabinet so maybe he'll relent by the time it all comes to pass!LOL  So we get ready to pull out of the drive and I told him that I did NOT get him one of his--he got all huffy adn I said WELL IT"S NOT LIKE I DIDN"T HAVE ENUF TO DO! He gets himself ready adn walks out the door! And he usually gets his own and I noticed he didn't and was telling him so that he could! So we get to church adn things were fine by then w/the boys. We tell Joey to be quiet on the way down to children's message and the little goof tries to SKIP (we sit in the very last row of the balcony and everyone now knows that you have to wait on him to get there anyway....). However HE CAN NOT SKIP! So he looks like a lame rabbit trying to escape and ppl were laughing out loud! So we got more than normal rounds of, "your boys are so cute.............he just always makes us smile....." DH and I are usually hiding behind the pews for the message.;)

We got all the pop in the room labeled and things situated for Saturday. I'm praying for a nice day, low 80s and low humidity.;)

Then to eat and back to my parents to get all the tractors nad trailers and the horse trough (we use that to put the pop and ice in) cleaned up and ready. That naturally meant that I HAD to go see my niece.;) We wound up messing around so much that we stayed for a cookout in the woods for supper, which was perfect. The weather was great and NO BUGS!!!! Then back here so DH could do a few things.

I've got laundry to do tomorrow and packing and then off to IL......

I can relate to the bfst bars...my toddlers love them. They would eat them for lunch and dinner if you let them :)
