Nice, slow day!

Doing pretty good today. I worked out and got Joey started on math again. He's done a week's worth of school on each day!ROTFL! But that's OK, we might be taking 2 weeks off so it'll keep him on schedule!LOL Mat will just be hopelessly off kilter!LOL While he did math, I ironed the one whole shirt from yesterday's wash and then cheated on hemming. The pants on the suit that I bought were WAAAAAY too long--I was stepping on the hem w/2.5" heels! So I got out the stitch witchery and they should fit great now. I even got a shower in!LOL My dad called adn told me what time that he was picking Joey up so we got ready. I had to drive clear across the county to show him a tractor and I wanted to call my mom to see if she wanted any of the beets. My cell phone was shut off!!!! The battery was dead. I'm assuming that it started beeping in the middle of the night and DH did it. So I had to get that charged. My friend's parent's barns burnt down (they don't live there) and they are ready to get rid of the tractor pronto now. But dad said it was pretty rough and passed on it. I felt awful for her tho--this happened yesterday adn it's just a smoldering mess out there now. The guy who bought the property seems to be of a huge help and no one was hurt and from what I know, not much of value was destoyed--but it's still hard to see your birthplace burn, yk?

I've also got something going on w/my eye. It's been matted the last 2 mornings and I checked and I don't think it's pink eye. I took the contact out and cleaned it and put it back in and it seemed OK, but I think it's startign to act up again.

Oh well, since I'm now childless,  I'm off to read.......
