Fabulous Weekend!

we took all the children to camp yesterday so I had him cornered in the van with no one else for the ride home (it was 20 min shorter than the ride up!ROTFL!!!!!!!!). He's going to take off MOnday in exchange for this Thur or Fri (he's not sure which) and we'll leave Sunday afternoon to go out there. And I asked if his suit still fit. He said that he thought so. I told him that there wouldn't be time to shop when the call comes and it would be so much easier if he got things together NOW and just got it done.

AFA the weekend, it was awesome. I got everything done in the morning and we headed out for Mat's ball game. Unfortunately, I had a screaming headache and thought for sure I was goign to toss my cookies as we were heading out the door for his game. I got a coke in me and managed to get my stomach settled down at least. It was a nice day and Mat played 3rd and did fine considering he's his lack of experience there. My brother and his family came to the latter part of the game even! We all headed back to our house and the festivities began! Ok, we started eating!LOL The boys all swam and the rest of my family showed up and we continued to eat. My brother and BIL got roped into getting on top of our roof and replacing this piece of wood that holds our electrice wires. The other one was rotten and broken. It was supposed to be a 30 minute job........3 hours later........LOL I did find out that my brother has Menard's programmed in his phone and BIL has Home Depot in his!LOL My sister gave some hair cuts and then we had fireworks. They all left about 11:30. We were all nearly exhausted!LOL My sister said that she got a good night's sleep tho (Keylee is not a good sleeper).

Since it was a late night and Mat left for camp, we slept in and missed church. We showed up in time for Sunday school and got some help unloading all that pop in the back of truck and then labeled some more. As a new twist, we are going to make like 10 'prize labels' (out of 2400) and they come to the church booth to claim a prize (that we have not figured out yet!ROTFL!)!

Then off to Subway for subs to go and back to church to get all the campers loaded up. We made it there in great time and DH & I got a tour of the place this year (it was raining last year) and had a nice drive back. Joey, at the reminder that he'd get to see baby Keylee, opted to stay w/my mom. So we got back and filled the van tank and cleaned it out and went to get Joey and came home. I was DEAD. Tried sleeping in all those hours and driving and couldn't. I get home and wanted to crawl in bed and felt guilty!LOL Joey did fall asleep about 6:40 and we woke him up to eat a hotdog and use the bathroom and threw him back in bed. I fully expected to see him about 5am!LOL However I went outside and started watering all my pots and it was sooooooooooooo nice out and low humidity so I decided ot get all of my weeding done! If DH would rototill, the garden woudl look awesome!

I got some other stuff done and grabbed a wine cooler and sat on the porch swing and enjoyed the sunset.....

I woke up this am at 5a nd could not get back to sleep! Grrrrr!!!! I started the laundry adn worked out. DH coudlnt' find a working sprayer so I have to use the dryer, lest I get japanese beatle defication all over my clothes. Joey's got summer reading program at 1 and I need to get books on tape for this weekend's trip as well. Plus Joey is spending the night w/my nephew and my brother's IL's are having a 4th party on Wed (obvsiously!LOL) and I need a covered dish for that and I decided on that oriental slaw or whatever it's called (ramen noodles and cabbage) so I need to get the stuff for that today. But it works out well since we'll have ot pick up both Mat and JOey that day. Saves gas!LOL

And Joey has Tball practice and Dh adn I are working the concession stand tonight (guess what's for supper?LOL). Tomorrow we'll do next to nothing and be gone on Wed. Then either Thurs or Fri, we'll get to the big towna dn Mat will get a real hair cut and new dress shoes, and they will both get socks. I can't wait.;)
