Things are a bit topsy turvy here. MIL has hospice and apparently that means VERY little life saving measures. She got that 2 pints of blood yesterday and it was done as an exception--only so that she could attend the shower on Sunday. nonpgSIL called last night about something unrelated and I FINALLY got it out of her that things are very near the end w/MIL. WHY CAN"T THEY LET US KNOW!?!?!?!?!?!? She said that MIL had called her children Wed night told them goodbye! And that there would no measure taken like this in the future. She wasn't coming out adn saying it, but basically we need ot get out there. I told her that we were planning on a visit the 9th-12th and I'm really hoping to convince DH to take t hat Monday off and go out on the 8th. Otherwise he won't have time w/his mom (he's got a conference in IL the 10th-12th). So next week, I'll be getting clothing altered and ready cuz when we get that call, we'll need ot pack it all up JIC.
