Dad asked me yesterday if he could take Mat to a sale and that was fine. I figure it's life skills that Mat will profit from in some way or another. Plus my dad has to feed him!ROTFL! At any rate, I decided that would be a great day to try to go to lunch w/a lady new to our MOMS group. From what I understand she's going thru a rough time and is temporarily staying w/her dad while she coordinates a move to Canada. I was going to invite her last week and she didn't come to our meeting. I thought her 'seeing' me might be easier than what I had to do--call and explain who I was!LOL  As it turns out she was unable to make it Wednesday. And I had spent alot of time trying to figure out what the best alternative was for lunch!LOL No sooner than I had my phone zipped up in my purse, it was ringing. It was my mom saying that my dad may not be able to go to the sale after all!

I can take my kids out to eat fine, but I was goign to take her to the Pizza Hut lunch buffet and there just won't be much time for talking w/kids getting restless and that's why I wanted to go sans my oldest. There aren't really any playlands around here and I am not sure of her car situation so I hate to make someone drive her clear out to my house. So I just hope another opportunity will present itself cuz she said that she really appreciated the offer.

But that's not the case. This has just been a great way for me to post all the fleeting thoughts that go thru my head. Most ppl I know tell me that I need to chronicle my life and this is how I"ve chosen to do it. I've tried journaling unsuccessfully MANY times. But this I've had nop porbs staying up w/. But I type alot faster than I write!;)
This is also why I'm drawn to scrapbooking. I love the idea of beign able to pass things down......
