BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!!!!!!

It's finally rained a bit the past few days and I knew the weeds would be sprouting! And they were!LOL So I got all the flowerbeds weeded and decided to transplant some daylillies around the pool. Most of my silver mound has died and I'm not entirely sure what I want to do, so for now, I stuck a couple in some spots around the back. Unfortunately, it's the front that's in desperate need of attention, but I didn't want daylillies near the ladder do to bees and wasps.

I did a pilates workout this am, which was nice. I may do it again tomorrow. After I got done weeding, I came in to hear my phone beeping and my mom had called wanting ot know if Mat could stay another night (they thought he had practice). He's going w/the youth today to canoe down the river w/my dad. They will have a blast. They usually help the boy scouts clean the river, but were unable to go last year. So my dad is SUPPOSED to have him here for the game tomorrow night. I'll have to threaten him w/in an inch of his life NOT to be late. And mom is having Mat read a book about John Wesley and they are discussing it. All the reports that I've heard from family is that Mat is trying really hard to please my dad and that he was of great help to my sister yesterday as well. He grumbled cuz dad didn't feed him enuf lunch, but oh well!LOL I guess he made up for it at hte smorgasboard last night.;)

I also dusted and cleaned the bathrooms and despite my horrors of washing windows last week, I got the windex out and cleaned all the mirrors, TV, and appliances.;)

So I can go outside now and enjoy these fabulous temps by swinging on my porch swing and reading my book knowing that the flowerbeds are decent and all the housework is done......

Love that feeling of contentment. Tomorrow will be my day to have it. I got the yardwork finished yesterday and will clean inside tomorrow. Enjoy your afternoon!
