I was wrong (again...LOL)

I have yet another post!LOL

My dad's all hyped up about the HS day at the Air Force Museum. He LOOOOOOOOOOVES that place and I spent many a vacation there as a child!LOL They are having their semi-annual HS day on 4/3. I need to be in Joey's program from 2-2:45 and Mat's program is from 1:30-2:30. So I won't be able to pick Mat up from his class. There is also a scavenger hunt for the kids on the grounds that they can do anytime from 10-3. So I asked my dad if he wanted to come with us.I wasn't sure and told him that if someone else from our group went, I wouldn't necessarily need him to come. But my mom was pretty insistant that he go!ROTFL!

So I think it will complicate things a little bit, but no biggie. Immediately my dad starts in, Can I bring my friend and his gson (HOW OLD ARE YOU? No, REALLY, you can't be 62 and asking questions like YOUR OWN GRANDSON!)? Dad I dont' have registration forms for them and I don't know how that would work. Dad: Are you sure? Dad they aren't even planning on HSling and I have been to this to know how big of a deal that would be (the gson is in preschool). Dad: Well, could you check? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NO NO NO NO NO! Take the hint dad! I am not taking half of IN to this event! Ok, maybe not 1/2 of IN, but I have no desire to be stuck w/2 retired farmers in my van for a 1.15hr one way drive (with my dad backseat driving me to begin with) and 3 kids. Just doesn't sound like a bang up day for me. So dad is OK w/just us going and got excited about the scavenger hunt. I also told him we'd be eating in teh cafe (the proceeds are used to fund the Museum adn these (free) activities so I prefer to support them).

Really, it should be fun. My dad is retired Air Force and knows all the answers to the questions Mat asks about planes that I don't have the foggiest idea about......LOL
