If I had known that boy was going to run off at the mouth, we'd have never encouraged him to go down front during children's message! Not that it took much encouragement since he wants to be like his big brother, but still. To his credit he did NOT discuss TVs show down front, but did bring up his favorite website (highlights!LOL). And he was on cue. The issue is that Dh adn I both told him NOT TO TALK and he did anyway. I view that as outright disobedience, but DH is sort of ambivalent about it. DH takes him down front or else, I'd require that Joey sit on my lap (in the front pew near the kids) until he can manage to keep quiet (or at least speak only once),b ut I don't know if DH would go for that. I'm the only one in the church that it bothers, but I guess I just don't see this as all that funny.
