MIL update

SIl had been trying to call us and our land line is down. She finally called my cell. MIL was released yesterday from the hospital, but went to the local one today cuz she couldn't breathe. her lung is half full of fluid according to the CT scan. They immediately sent her to the big hosp in St. L. She refused ot go by ambulance (HUH??????) and had FIL and pgSIL drive her. NonpgSIL is to call when pgSIL calls her to update her. NonpgSIL said that this is not MIL overreacting. The ER doc (nonpgSIL works there) was VERY concerned. She also mentioned congestive heart failure which is the first I'd heard of this. I don't know if it was to be a secret or what, but things were staticy on her end and I had to ask her to repeat a couple of things, but when I asked her ot repeat that, she hesitated. So I don't know what's going on. DH hadn't planned on going back until 7/8ish, which is a long time all things considering. Please pray for wisdom about what to do.

Hi Dana, I understand what you were/are going through, my MIL is now on a treak tube respirator, she had full respiratory failure a few days ago and even died for a few seconds, she too has congestive heart failure.

Hope things improve for your MIL, I know how taxing this can be on every family member's emotions.
