![]() helping a friend, laundry, baseball and VBSWhew! I got up early and worked out so I could leave to help my friend as soon as both boys were awake. Neither of her parents live in their home and my friend is trying to get it ready for an estate sale or auction. OWM!!!!! Mat was a wonderful help. I don't know how many trips he made to the dumpster! We got everything that she wanted done today so that was nice. It didn't seem like a lot, but when I thought back, it was! And for my effort I got SCADS of canning jars!!!!!! I LOVE canning jars! Some of these are 1.5-2 qt jars too! Perfect for juice! I love unique jars like and it was so nice to see some. And as a treat since we've been on a major financial crunch, I had gotten a rebate check for Salad's heart worm meds for $5 so I cashed it and the boys and I eat got a sandwich of the $1 menu at McDs. I was on the phone to my brother so I just took my change (knew it was right!LOL) and handed the bag back to Mat. He dispersed the sandwiches and the boys eat and then Mat asks who got the fries (we were long out of town by now). I said WHAT FRIES?????? There was a med fry in there so the boys split that. Then we got home and I unloaded all the jars out of the van (what a task!). The back was totally full, some in the front seat, the back seat was full, the full of the back was full and there were some in between the boys! I found 2 bars of fels naptha soap at her parent's home and she said I could take that so I made more homemade detergent again! Used it to do some of the laundry that I'm now doing. I have one load on the line and one more to go. I'll do the other 2 loads tomorrow. And it's VERY cool here, which is great. We were sweating doing all of that work in her parent's home, but it was pretty cool for the most part. We are freezing in our home since we aren't doing serious manaul labor!LOL In a bit I'll have Mat practice batting and then make tacos for them and head out to Mat's game and Joey's VBS.
