busy afternoon.........

I'm back. Mat had a great time at the cultural center and learned plenty (or so he said). I was under the impression that this was a DROP OFF event and it was for ages 8+ so Joey wasn't going to benefit much anyway (usually exclusively HS events are all age ranges). Turns out you could, but since it was a group of HSlers I was the only mom who did cuz I was told incorrectly. Oh well. I really like that place!LOL I had a ROUGH time at the mall, but spent the gift cards. I got me 3 shirts and a pair of Body by Victorias! And sandals and a dressier shirt for Mat. Not much, but one of my shirts was $30 (on sale!) and that killed any clearance deals I was getting!LOL

So we are now home and the meat is in the pie pan and the potatoes are peeled and boiling. I'll get that ready to toss in the oven before ball practice starts and then we'll head out. I might need for DH to stop and get a loaf of bread, but I need to talk w/him first and see if I should make a half a bfast casserole to take to IL or not.
