HS convention

I don't know how to explain this, but there is a huge new speaker on the national HS front. I've known since the minute I heard his name that I NEEDED to hear him talk. He's 43 and was HSled himself and now HSLing his 5. God was really pushing me to do this. Well guess who the big speaker was this weekend at the HS convention? YUP! Kevin Swanson! You see, he's 'high energy', lively and animated are an understatement about his speaking. I knew if I saw him speak that I would have peace about Mat. And I did. I felt like I was watching Mat as an adult. And other than my FIRST ever text messaged that I recieved and attempted (twice even!LOL) to reply to (at which point I jammed my phone back in my purse and DH got his out and did it for me!LOL), it was really quite amazing for me to see. I often forget that God made Mat and that God doesn't screw up. I think Mat needs to behave and learn in one fashion and that's obviously not God's plan!LOL I get horribly frustrated by that!LOL MY PLAN! USE MY PLAN!LOL As if things would last 2 seconds w/my plan!LOL It was just so nice to see the potential that Mat has and how it could be utilized, yk? So peaceful........

It is a great feeling to finally be at peace. I think we all need reminders that kids don't all fit in the same round whole. They are all different. Some harder than others but all children of God.
