Wonderful Wednesday!

I'm getting the hang of these huge 'do it all at once' days. We left at 8:30 for MOMS and I am SO GLAD I fulfilled all my refreshment taking EARLY. I packed very 'light' at least--not even jackets for the boys! ANd it was a nice meeting. A lady brought 'tuna patee' (Have no idea how to spell patee!LOL) and it was VERY good! Basically like a tuna spread that you eat w/crackers. And another lady brought leftover Tastefully Simple stuff and I tried the merlot dip--OMW! Wonderful! The bible study was good too!LOL (really, it was) I really like the group we have there--lots of nice ladies. Then the race began!LOL In 2 hours, I went to the nursery and got the seed potatos, onion sets and other spring seeds (for both mom and I) so as soon as things dry out (which wont' be soon w/our forecast of rain for the next 5 days!), we can plant! Then to eat lunch for hte starving kiddoes. I ate so much at MOMS that I didn' eat!LOL Then to the dollar store to buy a card and look for cheap planters for my sister's shower. To the bank and PO and had 5 min to spare before library started!LOL

I am making 4 pots for door prizes for my sister's shower. I saw .88 planters at Walmart so I'm goign to get those. Low cost is the object here!LOL But while at the nursery, I thought out exactly what and here's what I've come up w/: one pot w/red geranium, one w/pink and one w/white. They will have fillers in them and the white one might have a red, white and blue theme. But for the last one, for something different, I was thinking of an herb planter--featuring basil, oregano and rosemary or thyme. What do you guys think? Stick w/flowers?

And my neighbor wanted to fill the spot at MOMS and the other lady and I just decided to let her!LOL And we readded the card ministry so I had to drop all that off on my way home and it was 4:15 when we got home. I hated the boys not being able to play since it's just GORGEOUS out here! Mat's in Tshirt and shorts and sandals!LOL

And I decided we're having stir fry for supper (well, my version of it anyway). DH doesnt' care for it, but oh well. He can eat it for one night. So the pork chops are cooking and I"ll get those cut up when they are cool. I have a bag of stir fry veggies int eh freezer so that won't take much.
