Mach speed here as usual. But that's to a grinding halt now! Yesterday was church adn it went well and then at 2, SIL and I met about my sister's baby shower. We got the lists nailed down and did quite a bit of the shopping! We're goign w/a pastelish 'zoo' theme (sort of matches the nursery), but there are no cheap pastel serving dishes so I suggested that we get some plastic storage container and line them w/fabric instead. Then they suggested even getting the matching recieving blankets to line them w/ so that's what we're doing. She gets the storage containers and blankets and we don't have pastel bowls collectin dust--it sounded like a win/win to me!LOL I originally thought of baby items to use as bowls (bathtubs, upside down step stools, etc), but that was getting quite pricey and knocking alot of things off her registrey!LOL At any rate, that's all under control now. We were very late and tryign to get home cuz the boys were covered in mud and needed to at least change clothes before kids' club and Joey screams, 'I peed my pants'! UGH! He said it was a little so we told him to hold it!LOL Dh passed up a couple of spots to turn in and I was seriously wondering what he was thinking and he finally turned in as JOey was saying (very slowly) 'can't.........hold.........it..........much........longer..........' It was a hoot. But he emptied his bladder and I asked DH if JOey had gone to the bathroom at my parents. Nope. So he hadn't used the bathroom from 8am that morning until 5 that night! We got them dropped off at kid's club at least. Mat is having an issue there and I'm not sure what exactly is going on. He mailed two apologies (one to the dad and one to the son (I'll spare the explanation)).

And they both have school done for the day! WAHOO!

I could NOT sleep last night. I think I"m still processing everything that's going on. My sleeping has been spotty at best. So 6:30 came way too early this am (and that's early for me anyway!LOL) and I got up and did some pilates and got ready for mmy gyn appt. The guys are here working on the deck adn they showed up about 7:30 and Dh had to rouse the boys cuz he needed to take them to buy the lumber (Amish) and bring them back. So I walk out the door and was looking at how to get the van out of the garage since they sort of had me blocked in and I opened the door and hear, "don't" and saw someone and screamed! He finished the sentence, 'be scared'!ROTFL LIttle late for that.......LOL It was very dark in the garage and I was so rattled and I nearly tripped over the basketball and drove off chastizing myself for not havign thought to turn the lights on for him! At the doc's office, we go thru the usual line of questioning (he's a riot and we get along great), I must've said or done something wrong cuz he asked if Dh was controlling!ROTFL!!!!!!!!! I laughed and explained and he said that he understood DH's issues.;)

Then back home. I did manage to get the sheets started (Monday is my big laundry day) before I left and DH and flipped the mattress even. So I got to work on the laundry and Joey did school while I made their pancakes and now it's almost lunchtime and laundry is almost done!

I think I see a nap for me today!LOL

Corned beef is thawing, soda bread is out of freezer and ready to make. The boys will peel potatoes a bit later and I'll call it good!
