Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Ok, my neighbor was supposed to call at noon telling me whether or not they were coming and I've not heard yet. She has 30 more min and then I have to start supper or we won't be able to eat at a reasonable hour!

And I think I'm goign to make green lemon bars for tonight. If they dont' get used tonight, off to church they'll go.;) I have an Irish Soda bread, but I"m seriously thinkign about making our St. P dinner on Monday. This week was just too much and I'm not organized. I got potatoes yesterday to make potato cakes, that Irish soda bread and we have a corned beef.

And I'm TOTALLY exciteda bout APril Fool's day. I'm making a backwards meal. I did this once before a few years ago and Mat loved it. You serve 'dessert' first--it's really sheperd's pie in a pie plate, but you tell them it's a cake (or you can ice it like a cake and serve it like a cake). Then for the 'main course', you get those waffle bowls and make something. Crud I totally forgot. But it's supposed to look like a salad, but it's a dessert. Maybe it's ice cream and you dye coconut green for lettuce and cut up red things to look like diced tomatos and whip cream for dressing......thinking....

So the stovetop has been cleaned, I windexed some things and done some general straightening. I'll vacuum in a bit and call it good.;)
