HS convention, decks and life

Good news and bad news here!LOL Lots going on actually. DH has not apologized for last week. I'm not even sure that he knows WHY!UGH!!!!!!!  Out of character for me, I made an appt at Walmart for an eye exam so I can get new contacts. It's tomorrow at 2:20 so I called him and said "I'll have supper ready at 6 so we can go to the utility deal tonight (we get $5 off our bill, organized events for the boys and cash and prizes given away), I made an appt at Walmart and I hope you can watch Joey (he just meets me there), if not, I guess I"ll deal with it. I'm also taking Mat to the beauty college about his hair. They certainly can't make it any worse. He wont' loose the length he wants, but it's got to be cleaned up somehow. I"m also buying a pair of jeans since I have one pair that does not have a hole (I found a THIRD hole in the pair I had on yesterday). I also called about getting the grout cleana nd need to measure the kitchen to see how much it will be. He didn't say much--I think it kind of threw him. I started mopping and he called back and said t hat it's $1100 for them to fix the deck. What choice do we have???? At least we can get ins off our back anyway. $1100 is cheaper than trying to find a new ins company cuz we'd been dropped, yk?

He also told me that he switched Saturdays so that we can go to the convention. Now to call mom and see if she's available to watch the boys. That means I won't be at the crop next Saturday. But it means that I'll be able to get most of Mat's cirriculum.

Layin' it all on the line.... sometimes that's the best way. In fact, most of the time that's the best way. Enjoy your convention weekend. I used to love to go to those. Now I shop by catalog but it was fun "in the day". :-)
