Also I called ins about our deck railing to find out what was going on. We were supposed to have it done by 4/12. She calls me back and says that we can have until mid May. I nearly rolled over laughing. I told her that MIL was full of cancer and that spending time w/her is our priority and that I don't know what DH's game plan is, but that that deck had been there 8 years and no one had gotten hurt and that it would be there long after his mom was gone. She said she'd see what she could do. I'll tell Dh adn he can deal w/it. He doesn't even care and just wants to rip the whole deck off. Apparently we'll be installing a pole vault cuz that will be the only way into the back door..........
