Feeling better........

I'm back amoung the land of the living today. Sort of. DH was sick Sun night, but the boys and I were gone so he had a quiet house and the boys went to bed when we got in. He went in about an hour late yesterday and I was worried that he wasn't goign in at all and he really can't 'afford' to burn his sick days being sick w/everything going on w/his mom. His work is flexible and given that he only gets glowing reviews at work, days off shouldn't be an issue, but you just never know.

I got up yesterday and worked out and started laundry and got things going and about 9:30 I knew my turn was coming. So I scurried around and got laundry to where Mat could take over, got Joey's school done (He finished his preK book!), gave Mat orders about lunch, got out a lb of beef and the box of hamburger helper and was in bed by 10:30. I only got sick twicea nd slept off and on, but still. Joey's been a pill (well for him anyway) so I didn't get 'rest', but things went better than I thought. I even had the foresight to call Dh and have him get sprite and chicken noodle soup so I"m set for today.;) Shoot, I even set towels by the toilet and put my hair in a ponytail before I crawled in bed!ROTFL!

I slept fitfully and woke up this am about 5 w/a pounding headache and it goes away when I"m upright so even though I"m exhausted, I'm upright!LOL

MIL started her alternative gene therapy and had her 'brain lasered' yesterday, but we don't know how that went.

Today I need to put away the load of towels--Mat did what he could, and check on the kitchen. I'm certain that it's a disaster. I told both boys at least a total of 5 times to have DH run the dishwasher and he never did do it. And I need to iron. I'm praying it's a yoga workout today cuz I"m a mess from lying in bed all day. And I'd like a shower. And a nap!LOL

Oh it's so hard when Mom is sick! I'm glad you are on the mend though!
