MIL's treatment

MIL starts alternative gene therapy tomorrow....I have no idea what that is. And we are definitely going out this weekend.
I'm tossing around approaching Dh about letting the boys and I stay out there over a week like we did one other time. I'm just so sad that they won't get to know her any better. I do love her very much and she really has so much to offer. I'll wait and see what happens over this weekend first. She starts her laser treatments on Thurs day I think too.

I just dont' want to stress her out or not be there if she doesn't want the boys to see her like that, etc. I just want to do what she wants, but no one seems to want to tell me what that is so I leave it alone and rely on Dh to handle it.

The two books that you listed for me to read are exactly what I do need. Thanks, and I will say a prayer for your family. My mother had cancer three times years ago and beat each one. And now she has Alzehimers from the cancer treatments. You never know.
