We're back from the mission trip and MIL's cancer is everywhere.;(

We're home.........we were basically in a 'projects' neighborhood. Shotguns the next street over, police were questioning ppl at the house the boys played w/the neighbor children (OUTSIDE AT ALL TIMES!LOL), drug deals, it was like a movie.........The lady (Maxine) 'put the word on the street to leave those babies (what she called my boys) ALONE!'. She was awesome.

I'm tired. Haven't talked to MIL or anyone reallly. SIL called later on Friday afternoon and they want us outnext weeked for a family picture. MIL will be having her brain lasered. I don't know what that means--Dh is sketchy on details.....

My brother's FIL (w/the pancreatic cancer who was doing great) now has spots on his liver....

Friday was very hard for me. I was exhausted, laying floor, surrounded by devastation (spiritual and physical) and got the news about FIL and then about MIL. It was impossible to be 'alone' in that type of setting and rather overwhelming at best.

Did I mention we are home?LOL I'm happy. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME trip! Boys were angels on both drives. Pretty good while we were there. God really took care of us. More details later.

DH talked to MIL last night. The news is just getting worse and worse and worse. I hate answering the phone. It's now wrapped around her heart. I asked why it wasn't found in the original MRI and he said it's growing that fast. If that's true we are talking a matter of days..........

It's now in her lung, chest cavity, lymph nodes, brain, blood stream and heart. I have no idea what's going to happen. He's got 2 weeks of vacation left and we may be using them very soon. His mom told him that they told her that they can't treat all 3 at the same time.

welcome back! glad to hear you had a good trip and got home safely. so sorry to hear about your mil's cancer, I will be praying for your family.
