typical menu for here.....

I tend to get in a rut, but we dont' eat very excitingly!LOL

I don't even remember what we ate on Monday night!LOL

Tuesday was bacon and eggs.

Last night was leftovers (spaghetti for the boys and carrots and cheese for me).

Tonight is tacos/salad (the boys have tacos and we eat taco salad).

Tomorrow night hte guys are having sloppy joes and I'm eating at my crop.;)

Saturday will be hamburger stroganoff.

Hmmmmmmm, I'll try posting weekly menus. Please remember that we raise our own hogs, but do buy beef from the butcher. And we don't buy any tomato products.;)

You do buy milk and other dairy products, and eggs, etc? Peanut butter, jam, ice cream -

I just am amazed that you can feed a family of four three meals a day on thirty dollars a week! I read your blog because it inspires me and because I enjoy it; that was just a wow. =>

~~WOW! Thank you! ANd we don't drink milk so I don't buy that, which I realize is a huge savings (and I should've posted that--ppl just assume we drink milk!LOL). We eat cheese like nobody's business tho!LOL And I buy eggs from a local lady for $1/doz (my oldest is cooking them like nobody's business too!LOL). I make my own jam (we rarely eat it), I make my own peanut butter (very simple--HONEST!) and the only ice cream we tend to eat is home made as well.
Hmmmmmm, reading what I just wrote makes it sound like we make alot of things!LOL But it certainly doesn't seem like it!LOL
