Well today was my big running around day. And my mom even called ot ask me to stop  by one more place for her!!!! So we tried her errand first, which resulted in 2 buildings and of course the man I needed to see was in a meeting so I had to leave my info. Off ot the bank so I have ones for the newspaper roll. There was a line in the driveup and they didn't have the second window open so we all trudge inside. A new teller. Oh joy. She at least asked the lady who knows how to run my acct to help her so I knew it was right (I was very pressed for time!). Mat had a transaction and I got my cash since DH left this am w/o giving me his debit card and I didn't have my new one yet. Then to the newspaper to get my end roll. Oh someone is in 'the barn' and will help you. I walked in the wrong park and heard someone talking on a phone and followed the voice to find out I was in the wrong building and went to the right building and no one was there. So I drive around the block again to get back to the main office and the lady there went back w/me to get one. They had a huge roll and she let me have it for $1. I was thrilled.

I had managed to cut up teh cheese and grab the partial bag of baby carrots for the luau and while we were late, it wasn't that bad. I was glad I brought something cuz there was very little food! Then off to pick up my 6 dozen eggs (another reason I needed change!LOL) and to the grocery. I was concerned cuz I always use my debit card and don't necessarily keep a running total in my head so I found myself putting things back!LOL But we did that and since it's in the 20s here, leaving food in the car indefinitely, is not an issue!LOL Then to Walmart where I managed to get everything on my list for the HS coop. It was 1:30 by then and the food from the luau was running out!LOL We made it to the big town and I found the Bob Evans. I decided to treat the boys because they have been behaving fairly well lately adn today in particular given all the errands we'd run. Then to the cultural center to cash in my free Vera coupon. They had a baby bag in the 30% off (discontinued fabrics and styles), but I wasn't sure and called my mom and SIL and just wound up not buying it for my sister. I wasn't about to drop $60 on a bag she didn't want/like and she's working so I couldnt' really get ahold of her. I take my $10 ID case up to the register and she said that it was only good with a $50 purchase! I had read every inch of that coupon and there was NO MENTION of a minimum purchase! She saw where I was going and immediately said that it doesnt' say that on the coupon, but it does on there ad. So it was THEIR policy--not Vera's. She knew I was not happy adn we left, sans a purchase. We went from there to the dreaded mall where I walked right in and noticed they did not have the new patterns.;( So I got my ID case in a different pattern and got my free gift w/o a word. Well about that. Joey felt the need to tell his entire life story (good thing he's only 4!LOL) to all three associates! One appeared to be the owner/manager. They were great w/him, ham that he is. It was 4 by then so I called to make sure Dh was going to be 6:30 and that I would have time to bake the meatloaf and potato casserole and he was. We got home a little before 5 and got everything unloaded and put away.............I was very glad I didn't have to do anything other than toss the stuff in the oven to bake.;)
