This year's Valentines

02:13, 2007-Jan-23 .. Posted in daily life .. 4 comments .. Link

I don't normally do much other than use the box of Valentines bought on clearance the year before, but this year, we are doing something a little bit different. We are only celebrating w/the HS group so I can splurge a little bit (nad even then, this is relatively inexpensive).

I just printed off the 'words' (my handwriting is awful and this was very easy to do on the computer using a business card setting).  This is from Family Fun: http://jas.familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts?page=CraftDisplay&craftid=11584

Tomorrow we'll cut the card stock and draw the lines and glue on the 'business' card! I need to purchase the popcorn (we don't use microwavable!LOL) and tape them on the back. That's it!

What a nice idea!! My kids are trying to figure out what they would like to do for a few family members for Valentine's day. Maybe we could do something like this.

Have a great week!

I made these Valentines and they were EASY! I wound up printing off their template and using hte red marker on it and then xeroxing them onto my 8x17" cardstock (that I'm trying to use up!LOL). I got 3 to a page (on regular paper, you get 2 to a page). So all 30 are cut, assembled and just awaiting signing and popcorn to be attached to them! They are adorable if I do say so myself!
