Homeschooling has it's ups and downs!

Mat has done AWESOME since my little fit yesterday! He missed ONE in math!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He aced his LA yesterday, got an A in bible, etc. etc. I KNEW HE WAS CAPABLE OF THIS!!!!!!!! I was starting to panic thinking he'd hit a plateau and I was failing him,e tc,etc. You know the doubts taht creep in. Must've been Satan. Anyway, all is right in my world. I just wish DH could see this.

And for something new. I had him read me his answers in math.

We have however managed to loose the LAST test! ARGH! I have a sneaking feeling it's under the walnut TV stand that I can not lift so I will have DH do that tonight. It's not the end of the world if he doesn't take this test, but I'm so stinking anal............LOL 3 tests adn we are DONE! 2 investigations left and we are DONE! 15 lessons are we are DONE! That's all math. Can you tell I'm a bit excited?LOL

I'm counting our mission trip as school. He'll be on the jobsite everyday so I'm counting it as civics and home maintainance!LOL I am really counting those days, but I won't categorize them until we get back adn I know what he's done.
They are talking to each other thru the heating vents! This is a scream! Joey has no idea and is looking for Mat cuz Joey's int he basement and Mat is on the main floor in his room!ROTFL!!!!!!!!!

And we had a nice chat at lunch about the many different ways germs get into your body and how our body fights back.
