Mission trip

As I've said, I'm very much a type "A" person. I try hard NOT to be, but Martha creeps out in me often.;) So I've been thinking about bits and pieces. Saturday we bought little kleenex boxes to take. Sunday I grabbed a coupon for batteries. It's things like that that I need to sit down and write down. We usually use rechargables, but I will have no place to charge them on a 11 hour drive! And I want to look into gettingn a lapboard of some sort for them to do activity books on. Joey would be hte one to primarily use it and they have some at Walmart, but I don't know if it would fit over the armrests on the booster seat. And what we pack for activities will vary as to what and who we travel with. But there are things I can be lookign at. I want to get Mat some Hardy Boy Books. He's read all that our library has adn my mom mentioned having some so I need to see which ones that she has. Some of those antibacterial wipes--both for travel and while down there. SNACKS. This alone will be a task!LOL Mat has a fanny pack so I'm going to let him take his snacks in taht for the day. They only plan a lunch break and that really doesn't work into his eating routine!LOL It should hold a breakfast bar, crackers, etc. And I'm buying boxes and using ziploc baggies to make our own snack size stuff.

So much just depends on many other thigns at this point--are we staying in the popup? Are we driving down w/the group? If we take our popup, we can't go in the church van, which means ALOT more gas money for us. And we have to buy new tires for the popup if we have to take it, which means more money for us..... The only upside to taking the popup is that we'd save $100 in staying at the church. But Dh adn I just don't think it's worth it. We're going to spend way more than that in gas and tires!

Oh well, God will work all this out.........
