Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

I'm tired!LOL Mat stayed up adn watched It's a Wonderful Life Christmas Eve so we were up until 11 and I had Dh set the alarm for 4. I just never know what to expect from Mat..... I heard Joey up at midnight so I just forced myself to stay awake until 12:30 and did it all then. I was SO glad not to have to get up at 4! I even turned off the alarm!LOL So it was back to bed and Mat was in our room at 5:30!!!!!!! Dh was in a very sour mood and told him to go back to bed. I thought that 5:30 was much better than last year's 4:30!!!! My throat was ON FIRE, but at 6:45, I felt so badly for Mat and went out w/him. We played a couple of games and he was bouncing all over the place. He had to sit and stare at his camera until NINE when Joey got up!!!!! He'd tried to talk to Dh a couple of times and Dh had a bad headache and was just not nice. So finally after Joey got up, so did he and we had our little Christmas. It's just usually so calm and nice. But I was a mess since I was  so tired and my throat was KILLING me. I had started a pot of tea and that seemed to be helping. Dh tried to make the bed at 10, but I crawled back in it!LOL He went outside to put in his headlights and at 10:10, I hear JOey yelling that he needed wiped. Then they wanted to watch Cars. I figured that was my best shot at sleep as I was going to get so at 10:30 I get back in bed (and I kid you not, Dh walked in 2 minutes later....) I slept for about 45 min and felt like a new  person! While Dh and the boys watched all of Cars (Joey got that), I cleaned up the kitchen adn got things ready. Mat had made the sauce for the meatballs while we were waiting for Joey and DH to wake up so those were already hot and cooking for my family get together. We were supposed dto be there at 1 and we didn't leave until 12:30 and it's 1.25hrs to get there......Dh said I should've told him,b ut I told him that they were all having fun watching the movie so I hated to interrupt.

But Mat LOVES his camera! ANd I am SO GLAD that we bought him that SD card that was on sale since his camera did not come w/one! Joey is just Joey and was happy w/whatever he got.

Then off to my family's. Again that was so nice! We got there and immediately ATE!LOL I managed to stay away from ALL the chips and my sister brought a fruit tray w/really good pineapple and dip-I ate alot of that!LOL And cheese and meatballs and and and!LOL  Then time for gifts. OH WOW! The boys got so much neat stuff!!!!!!! DH got some drill and this diesel shirt that I had been trying to get him! Mat got some light up K'nex and Joey got his floam!LOL Mom got them TONS of clothes and PJs, which they needed. I think we now have every color and size of Old Navy raglan shirts from 5-10/12s!LOL I had bought Mat some 8s last year and MOm got Joey 5s and 6/7s and Mat the 10/12s, but ON runs so big that he can't wear them. He barely fits into the 8s!LOL And the PJs are all nice fleece footed ones, too.

I"m waiting until tomorrow to brave the stores!LOL I have to go to the big town to return some stuff. And this is some of my pettyness coming out. I knew my mom got Jamie fleece pants, long shirt nad matching slippers. I could care less about the slippers, but really wanted the pants and shirt!LOL (From Old Navy) So my sister is opening and SHE got a set. My mouth started watering. I had ONE package left, but it wasn't big and fat like theirs had been. Imagine my SHOCK to see a BROWN SUEDE JACKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That MATCHES THE BROWN SUEDE (knee high) BOOTS that my sister got me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I nearly fell over! Again, I need to try it on w/a bra to make sure that it fits right, but WOWWOWOWOWOWOWOWWOW!!!!!!!

Then we played so many games! I love playing games! And finally about 10, we left. They both fell asleep on the way home!

ANd today, I've got the 5th of 7 loads in the wash (and that's w/my big washer! It'd have been at least 12 w/a normal washer!) and 2 loaves of banana bread baking. The bananas desperately needed to be used! And all of the gifts are sorted, hung, put away, under hte tree, etc.

Oh and Mat got a drill! A real one! My dad found one at a sale (it's nothing fancy, but Mat is only 9) and Mat got a build a birdhouse kit that has screws and I told DH that it would be perfect for him to teach Mat to use the drill w/that.......
