I just got a card from my DAD"S aunt and uncle that I haven't seen in years. She wrote a note on it saying how much she enjoys our Christmas letters and that we seem to really enjoy our children!

And I just had the STRANGEST experience at the beauty college. I'm not knocking anyone, but most of the ppl there are women (and flaming homosexual men on occasion) who are single moms who are seriously struggling or living w/their bf tryign to save up money to get married, where they will be partying at that night, how to get back at the daddy of their first baby, etc. I just dont' have lots in common w/them. WEll this time I got a 44yo lady--not sure why she's there as she is married and they have a rental, etc, etc. I know this woman's life story. SHE WOULD NOT SHUT UP!!!!!! I was nearly going stark raving mad. I don't mind small talk, but this was nervous prattle and I was reaching my breaking point. "Oh I want to make sure you know what I'm doing at all times--Oh here I missed this hair, oh this wax is a mess, too cold, I wonder who bumped the knob--you haven't heard anyone else back here have you? No. Oh me either I wonder who would've odne that. (GEE I DON"T KNOW!LOL) Oh I'm sorry I got some wax in your hair, can I put this towel OVER your hair so I don't pull it (she pulled my bangs a couple of times instead of the strip--if she hadn't given me a small mirror so that I could periodically check to make sure I wasn't going to have NO eyebrows, I'd have been very panicky!LOL), oh I'm going to have someone else finish you, I can't beliveve this doesn't hurt you--I am jumping for you (well that's reassuring), oh this wax is a mess--the knob keeps moving....and on and on and on and on and on.

Ok, about 30 min later of nothing but hearing THAT, she made some comment about the mom who put her baby in teh microwave. HUH? I had not heard that. Oh, you haven't? Well it makes me think about capitol punishment (I was impressed to hear that since she's going thru 'mentapause'). She went on a bit more and I finally asked abou the baby (it was killing me what was going thru my mind). Oh she cooked it until it blewed up! My stomach was churning at this point. She just stood there and watched and listened to it scream. I don't know. I think she should die. But I want her to be saved first and not to go Hell and let God will punish her. I nearly rolled off the table (she told about how she was cussing earlier!LOL)! Can you only imagine working in taht environment and being a Christian? She obviously gets the main points anyway. She was still driving me nuts w/her talk, but I was able to settle down after that. On a totally ironic note, she kept commenting on how calm and patient I was!ROTFL!!!!!!!!!!!!
