Down with Dialup!!!!!!!!!!!

Whew! Today was another whirlwind. I need for them TO STOP!!!!!!!!! I knew I was going to be busy cuz Dh wanted me to stay for the HIGH SPEED internet appt. I realized the house was pretty nasty so I emptied the dishwasher (Joey's sicka nd I don't want him coughing all over the clean dishes) and the sink, went downstairs nad did cardio (kickboxing--YIKES!), folded laundry on commercials!LOL, put all that away and got meat out for spaghetti, dusted, cleane the bathrooms and then vacuumed. It was 9:30 and I needed to shower yet so I hopped in and got htat done. My sister called to discuss next Friday night (the email my brother sent went out FAST!LOL), and I somehow managed to have everything ready by 10:45. Dh wanted me to be here in case he was late (as usual) and the guy was early. BTW, I cleaned the house cuz I actually KNOW this guy!LOL His wife HS their 4 children and I didn't want him to think we lived in a stye, but it was hard to tell w/Christmas bags and candy and everything else out of place here. And Dh was on time and the guy was late!LOL Go figure. But they got it done and the boys ate and I got to play for about 10 min before we needed to leave!LOL I got everything we needed and we were off. Dh brought home this bag of plastic bags a couple of weeks ago for me. How nice...........LOL He really was trying ot be nice, but I so did not need them adn I remembered the library gives them out for ppl who have lots of books so we took them in there, along w/their candy, the loaf of chocoalte chip banana bread for the one librarian who didnt' get one before Thanksgiving, and the Angel Tree gifts, and ALL the library books.

Joey was not too hip on the whole Santa thing which surprized me cuz last year he was fine w/it. And sure enuf, Santa got  here and he was so excited that he could've burst! He didnt' want to sit on his lap and was tentative w/him, but did stand next to him for a pic and told him taht he wants the monster truck, Grave digger () and a toy for our dog, Salad. Sigh. I was hoping for SOME ideas--the boys wants NOTHING, which would be fine, but I have no idea what to give him! Nor what to tell other ppl! And Mat was Santa's helper again this year and distributed the candy canes. He asked the librarian if he could be an elfa nd she asked if I wanted to make him a costume..............LOL

Then to drop off the Angel Tree stuff and get some nighttime cough meds. I'm not sure if Mat's oign to get this cold or not and I'd rather be prepared. We dont' really do meds for colds, but I do think night time cough suppressants help them sleep, which helps them to get better faster (IMO).

And as an added bonus, the guy at MSN was very nice when I called to cancel. He asked why adn I (was literally jumping up and down) telling him that we got high speed. He congratulated me!LOL ANd we got refunded our Dec payment (that's for January) and it's all on this pymt cycle so ALL IS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my, I have been gone a while! I am so jealous of you and your high-speed, the way it is going here Aidan will be out of school before it is available LOL. Just wanted to let you know that I am ok and should be blogging more regularly now.
