long, but productive day.......

OMW!!!! I can't believe I survived today!LOL I only did cardio cuz I'm still just not quite up to 100%. Joey was up in the middle of the night and I made a MASSIVE boo boo--just shows how the lack of sleep the past few weeks is getting to me. We gave Joey cough meds (he's just hacking his head off and I was worried that he wouldn't sleep) at 7:45ish. He was up after midnight and at 1 I hauled him back to his bed. I realized that I could dose him again at 1:45. I kid you not, the second my head hit the pillow after I dosed him, I REALIZED I ONLY WAITED FIVE HOURS AND NOT SIX! It's supposed to last 6-8 hours so I hated to redose him, but he was back to hacking badly again. I eventually got back to sleep (did I mention that *I* went to bed at 8:45?) around 4 or 5. JOey slept until 7:45, which is late for him.

Anyway, after my workout, I get everybody doing stuff (Mat was almost done w/his big bible test--only work for today AND only one more bible book and he's done for the year!) and getting ready. I managed to get out the door w/everything I needed nad we were off! First stop was Walmart. I don't like shopping there, but we were buying the ANgel Tree stuff and it needs to be done at Walmart (only store int he town I get them from adn I like for them to be able to return if wrong size/etc). We were able to get most of that AND my niece and nephew! Unfortunately for one of hte Angel boys, he's only getting two of those TeckDecks. And I bought them last week cuz they were the only ones on the shelves.:( I got him a Cranium game to 'help'. Joey's boy was a cinch. My niece and nephew were a bit of a challenge cuz they have alot and I don't know what they have and like, etc. So it's all returnable!LOL I think I did OK w/my niece. My nephew might not be happy!LOL I did get him 2 monster trucks so there is a silver lining!LOL And my brother called as we were walking out the door, Can we all come over on the 22nd? Um sure.......I really don't care, but I didn't have time to chat w/him then. I called him in the store cuz the boys wanted to get him monster trucks nad I didn't know which ones......he tried to talk about the 22nd again and I just flat out told him taht I was shopping w/time restraints and would talk later!LOL I also got a friend something and my dad his cherry cordials! To top all that off, everything is in the house, sorted and WRAPPED!!!!!!!

Back to my day, after Walmart, I went to Joann Fabric. I found nothing that would work.:( I was a bit bummed, but hope to find a bigger fabric store SOON to see what's out there. Either that or when I get high speed TOMORROW, I'll look online and see if they have what I want. I'm just to textural to shop online much tho. Then we fly to McDs for lunch. I didn't really have time to stop, but I needed to use the bathroom adn naturally my phone rang when I was 'indisposed'!LOL But it was the lady I was meeting to take her to the production. We ordered, grabbed our food and ran out the door.

The production itself was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! Mat said he really liked it! JOey was good thru the performance (1.45hr) and didn't get scared when the 10+ft 'ghost of the future' came out! I'm so glad that all worked out! And they weren't charging the full $4! Of course I had my $12 ready to go adn just handed it over, but all these other HSlers were talkinga bout how they were only paying $2!!!!! Oh well. And a lady asked me about the honey I wanted. I had completely forgotten about that BUT had never heard back from her about how much she was willing to part with. Turns out she sent me an email and I didn'dt get it! I got 1 gallon (12lbs) for $18, which is a great price. So we all split up and I finish shopping.......

I now only needed to buy for the niece and nephew in the gift exchange. DH got hte DVD he wanted free thru work, but I felt badly so Mat picked out a kitchen timer for him (he loves to cook) that was about $5. Perfect. Then we looked for my niece who wanted light blue basketball pants (like Nike, etc). HA HA! The store we were in didn't have light blue and they were $28+ (there is a $15 limit on it). I went somewhere else and then to the mall. Checked a store in teh malla nd then went to Dillard's.;) The skirt design I want to make is VERY popular! Their's were all 'ugly' IMO!LOL So I'll still make mine. But I decided to check their girls dept and imagine my shock, when I see the sweat pants I needed for $5!!!!!!! I got a gift reciept so if she doesn't like it, she can take them back.

Then to head home. We were going ot go to the library, but Mat reminded me taht I needed a library card and I dind't have it on me so we just came home. I tried to buy gas, but the pay at the pump wasn't working so we left!LOL I didn't want to drag the boys inside. Joey was getting quite grouchy and he did fall asleep on the way home. But he didn't stay asleep. So that's when I just decided to wrap and be done w/it. I'm SO GLAD!

We also had several light bulbs blown so I spent a fortune on those. I got 2 flourescent ones for the ceiling fan and 2 of these vanity lights for my vanity. None of hte lights in my vanities match and it drives me batty, but I'm too cheap to replace them all!LOL And then another flourescent one for the kitchen. Even tho it says 60W equivalent, it's not as bright as the other one. It should be fine tho.

The roast should be done in the crock pot soona dn steamed veggies w/that.

Tomorrow I have to do cardio, dust, clean the bathrooms, take the boys to see Santa at library and come home to HIGH SPEED INTERNET!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WWWWOOOWWW!! My goodness girl! You sound like the energizer bunny!:O) I don' think you have to worry too much about the cardio with all that running around!:O)
