Lots of surprizes today!

While getting a couple of things in our local Aldi's, I learned that it's NOT CLOSING!!!!!!!! They are even getting a new building and will carry everything that the other Aldi's do! VERY GOOD NEWS AND VERY EXCITING!!!!!!!! I was so excited when I heard that I forgot ot buy TEA (the main reason I went there) and had to go back!

I was given an envelope today at the HS Christmas party adn assumed it was a card. And it was, but there was also a $25 gift card to a restaurant in there!!!!!!!!! The mom told me that if I hadn't started the teaching coop last year, she was goign to throw in the towel on homeschooling! WOW! You just never know how your actions will affect someone else (positive or negative!).

And I learned that you can only pay so many ways at McD's!LOL I told the lady when I ordered and she said it would be fine. I gave her my 2 coupons for free drinks, used the .15 on my gift card and still owed $3.07 so I gave her $3 in McBucks and .07 in change. I got to the window to get my food and she asked me to wait. I waited a LONG time and they finally said the register just wouldn't let them do that and it wouldn't let her back it out and ring them up seperately. Thankfully I had $3 on me and she gave me back my McBuck's. Rather defeate the whole point, but that's OK.
