Garlic for your cold?

It will get rid of it fast! As I told my BIL, 10 minutes of misery or 10 days! It works THAT well. Mat had a bad runny nose and was starting in on coughing and I had him eat 1 regular spoon of minced garlic (from a jar even!) and his nose had stopped running that night. I had him eat another spoon of it on Friday and he's been 100% ever since! That includes being out late at teh Pacer game and up half hte night w/his cousins!

I did the same thing last year when I was in misery and w/in 2 days I was 100%. From now on, that's my standard in cold care.

Yeah! Glad he's feeling better. Just a thought, someone that just can't take it raw...You can buy empty pill caps. from health food stores. You could stuff them with the minced garlic and swallow. Would be MUCH better then the garlic pils sold in the store.

I did not know that you could buy empty pills!!! I will keep that in mind. I know I didn't mind the first day I ate the garlic cuz I was so sick that I had no taste buds!LOL But the 2nd day was awful!ROTFL But that's how much I improved in 24hrs too. I will get some of those nad keep them on hand. Mat can take pills so that would work for both of us!
