I went birthday shopping!!!!!!!

Yes, my bday was over 3 weeks ago, but this was the first chance that I've had to use my gift cards. MIL apologized that hers wasn't very much (Dillard's) and that I would be lucky to buy one thing. I was thinking $20-25. It was for $50!!!!!! I got a khacki pair of jeans (my worst 'deal' of the day), an adorable long denim skirt and a super cute short sleeve cream shirt (the really stretchy kind) for $60. Then I went to Goody's and spent forever in there as well. My steal of the day was the $50 black and white wrap dress (that will be perfect w/my black and white wedges!) for $2.50!!!!! I also got my brown velour sweat suit, a long sleeve shirt w/a nativity on it and necklace w/earrings (to go w/what I've come up w/to wear at Thanksgiving) for $40. So I spent $90 ($10 of that was taxes), $80 of that came from gift cards for $288 worth of merchandise!

I also bought hte elastic for the boys Christmas pants and hunted everywhere for plain red Tshirts. Walmart had TWO. In the wrong sizes, but I bought them anyway. They are both 6/7 and Joey could've used the 4/5s and Mat the 8/10. It should work tho. I'll hang on to them and if I find something better I'll donate these (or give them to their Angel tree boys) since they were on clearance for $3/each.
