HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!

I survived...........Thanksgiving is over (as a host anyway). No one stayed the night so DH adn I got alot done last night, which made for a calmer morning. I had no bfast to clean up, 100 ppl underfoot, etc. My nephew was still sick so my brother and his family did not come.;( But we did pretty good on food--enuf left of most for one meal. SCADS of turkey so I need to get it thrown in the freezer. About 1 whole pie (out of 3) left as well. But we had lots of fun and lots of food and the day really went so well. BIL did alot to help me since my sister is still not feeling well. I had the sweet potato casserole done by the time they got there and all the potatoes peeled and ready to go. I peeled the eggs as well. I'm not a big fan of peeling!LOL But they made the deviled eggs and BIL whipped the potatoes. I made the oyster dressing. BLECH! But there wasn't any left!LOL

And those crock pot liners ROCK! After all the cooking and dish washing all morning (I had everything done about a little after noon), that was IT! I put the leftovers into containers and threw those liners away! Cuz it would have been ME doing all the scrubbing on those. I won't use them often, but if it's something very messy and I know that I won't have time (or DH is in charge), I'll gladly use them.

So the house is all put back together and the boys are quietly playing downstairs and DH and I are ready to collapse!LOL

Mat did have a blast at the Pacer game. And they stayed up very late. The watched Click. I nearly blew a gasket, but there is nothing that I cna do about it now.
