turkeys, chickens, bread bowls and bagels!

I got up and started in on the laundry. Today is a rather large laundry day for me partially cuz I did the guest sheets so they are ready adn our sheets and towels and clothes and clothes and washcloths and handwashables.......LOL I am not doing the towels until I'm done w/the breads tho. I did cardio (interval training--I love that!) and tried yoga, but it's one of the hardest sequences and, well, I'm not afraid to admit that I am not (nor will I ever be) an ADVANCED yoga practicer!LOL So I skipped the middle and only did the warm up and cool down. Then back upstairs to get the bread bowls started. They are on their second rise. I think I messed up the bagels tho!;( I hope not, but we shall see if they rise or not. They are so dense that it's hard to tell.So in a bit, I"ll bake the bowls and work on the bagels. I need all of that done so that I can clean out the pumpkin and get it ready for the veggie soup for supper tonight! Lunch is leftovers. I've got to get as much out of hte frig as possible for this weekend. We usually wind up having stuff in coolers anyway.

While I was doing that (and playing Clue Jr and then moving on to school w/Joey), pigman called. He was returning my call about turkeys that I made in the middle of last week. He DOES have some! I was SO BUMMED, but I told him that I wanted one anyway. He said they let them get a bit big and the small ones are 18lbs!LOL I asked how big the big ones were and he said 30!LOL I REALLY wished I had known cuz we'd have much rather had a 30lber for Tday! OH well, I'm also getting a couple of whole chickens! These aren't organic, but they are local and that means alot to me. He also told me that the pig farm behind us ran out of money. Not sure how I feel about that. But the good news was the his wife is this way alot running the children to private school so she'll just drop off what I need!!!!!!!

And my sister called and we finalized what she's doing for Tday. So I still have a bit of work left today, but I've got the bulk of it done.
