My precious Mat......

He's w/my parents and we called to talk to him last night (yes, he only left yesterday (afternoon at that)!LOL). He was going on 100mph!LOL My dad was giving him grief about his 'hair style' (which is pretty goofy looking, but I guess it doesn't bother me--it's not disrespectful and he's done nothing permanently to it so I dont' see why he can't have a bit of self expression) because they were going to some 'dinner', but dad was being sparse w/the details (shocking). We found out last night that they went w/the church (well 2 vans of them) to hear a missionary that we support. He talked for 2.5 hours and I guess Mat really liked it! On the way to town for the dinner tho, my parents needed to stop by the funeral home for a viewing (Mat wasn't really dressed for that, but he did have on nice jeans and a decent shirt so it could've been alot worse!LOL) and Mat told us that he got to be the 'mortician'!LOL WE grew up in a very small town and my mom watched that mortician grow up.;) Plus he's got his hair bleached on top and all standing up on end so I'm certain that Mat's hair (sort of spiked) didn't phase him in the least!LOL But he helped Scott open the door for ppl for a bit. Which brought back memories cuz Mat did that for my grandfather's viewing (but for a LONG time). Obviously our mortician is a great guy.;)

But Mat's having a blast and my dad has he and Ryan today. That just makes me nervous cuz they are supposed to be picking rocks. I don't want the driver distracted. I sort of hope they don't pick rocks today.
