Nice Thursday!

Well I woke up feeling a bit overwhelmed, but I plowed ahead and things settled down. My dad kept calling about Mat coming over today and it was a series of miscommunications. But I got everything done, except that Mat kicked me out of the bathroom to 'style' his hair!LOL So I wasn't ready when my neighbor got here, but that's Ok. I had a nice time and I'm pretty sure that they did as well. I really liked the salad anyway!LOL  I made those homemade wheat rolls adn they were pretty good. Mat got a bit wiry at times, but I was sort of expecting that cuz he was up early and pretty wound up. And for a change *I* was relaxed! I even got to hold and feed the baby! AFter they left the boys played outside for a bit since it's just gorgeous here and then we got Mat all packed up. He's staying at my parents until Sunday! Joey will probalby miss him later on!LOL

Oh I have to make no bake cookies........can't forget that!LOL I do have the potato soup going and that will be tasty tonight. It's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much since Mat won't be here, but I'm hoping for 2 meals from it. So Joey and I can eat early and DH can eat when he comes home and I don't have to cook twice. Plus there were enuf leftover rolls from this morning for supper.
