A nice day

I'm tired, but what's new?LOL We did make it to town and the boys got their computer time in and then off to the grocery. I forgot my grocery bags so we didn't buy much. Mat insists that I asked him to buy bananas, but they are GREEN so it'll be awhile before they can be eaten!LOL Then to Walmart. A battery in one of our smoke detectors had gone low and DH wanted it replaced. I was very pleased to see pumpkins marked down to $1 so we found a nice one and that we'll have veggie soup in it Saturday night. The boys love these kinds of things. I'll purree what's left and make something with it. I also decided to nib in their fabric dept for clearance stuff for my sister. They had pregather skirt fabric w/elastic already encased in it! SEriously, all you  have to do is run the sideseam! It was $5/yd so I got 1 yd of 2 pieces to make skirts for next summer. It'll take me longer to get out the serger than it will to make them.........

And that stuff is all put away and we're just waiting for DH to get home to eat. The boys are supposed to be cleaning the basement--HA HA!LOL
