Simple Saturday

FINALLY! A simple day! I did remember the boys had Christmas program practice this morning so my plans to lounge all day were dashed, but I turned out to be helpful at practice!LOL I got to chat w/some friends and the my friend who just had the baby needed a bunch of stuff out of this loft area and she really had no business going up there (I probably didn't either given my lack of grace, but I managed not to hurt either one of us!LOL). I confirmed dinner plans for tomorrow night too! The director also gave us a CD of the songs. That is SO NICE to have--I really think it helps the children learn the songs much faster as well.

Then we came home and I read the 3rd book in the series. Only one more left and I"ll read that one on Monday.

My friend also called and the lady who watches the toddlers agreed to come back if Mat did the lifting for her! WAHOO!!!!!!!!! Of coures that means DH and I will be paying Mat now, but at least that should be one less babysitter that we need. We still need one for the older children.

I think that about wraps things up here. Dh worked very late considering it was a Saturday adn just got home. I suggested that we all go for his pickup tonight and use one of his gift cards (from last Christmas) on the way for supper. So that meant that I needed to get Sunday School ready so I did that while Joey bathed.
