a long day.............

Well I woke up at 5am (2 hours before i needed too) so DH went off to work w/a smile! I opted to do the 7am workout so I could get on the road sooner. Joey gets up while I was doing my hair and threw up on the tile (THANK GOODNESS!LOL) and it was just phlem so I decided to see how he did and kept on as if we were going. He ate a piece of toast nad drank some water w/no issues so I roused Mat and we hit the road at 9. We walked in my mom's house and it REEKED of whatever she burnt. We couldn't find her so I called my sister who said she had to be there!LOL In less then 5 minutes, my mom upset and I hurt her feelings. I am SO TIRED of her NOT LISTENING and RESPECTING my feelings. She's a great person and I love her dearly, but she very conveniently FORGETS things and then remembers/does what she wants.  So I picked up my sister (she lives right next door basically) and things got iffy w/her cuz we started talking about my parents!LOL  So I just changed the subject and decided this WAS going to be a nice day if it killed me!;)

We got to the mall and found the store and piddled around and I couldn't find a jacket I just *loved* so we went thru some other depts and my sister found 2 adorable dresses and I found one! A Liz reg $72 for $12! And the entire reason I went to THIS mall was that I had that gift card and this store was goign out of business. Well since they are going out of business, they are now owned by the liquidation place and they dont' accept the mall gift cards!UGH! I was really glad I hadn't spent alot of time finding a jacket! But we did find one in a different dept and my sister said she'd pay for it and I'd just give her the gift card (she's much closer to the mall than I am!LOL). So I bought it. It's black and I REALLY wanted brown, but as my sister pointed out, I can buy 2-3 pr of black shoes (I always wear brown) for the price difference (for some reason this was kept getting marked downa nd it was 30% off of that so I paid $50 for $185 jacket). And I figured for that price, I can wear it for 5 years and then upgrade if I want and not feel badly. Then we found a little white short sleeve shrug/bolero type sweater for my tank dresses. So I had a $75 gift card and spent $80 for $300 worth of stuff. Not too shabby IMO.

Unfortunately, it was 2 by then and my head was RAGING. I couldnt' even go into Victoria Secret cuz the smells were so bad, it sent me fleeing from teh store. I saw Olive Garden (DH hates to eat there and there isn't one around here so it was fine w/me!LOL) and we had great service since it was desserted!LOL And I was good and just got the soup and salad. Seriously the waiter was great. He seated us (at a table for 6!LOL) and I gave him my drink order then and he brought it pronto. I was hoping the Coke would help, but it didnt' so I took 2 advil and finally I started to get some relief.

Oh I felt badly about mom--this is something I told myself to work on so I bought her a cross that has mother-of-pearl  on it (necklace). My sister and I had to stop by the bank and remove me from one of her accts so we did that while we were out. I am never back home during the weekday hours.

Mom said the kids were good, but Joey was the most hyper she's ever seen him. I dont' know why since he's got this cold, but oh well. Hopefully it doesn't last. One hyper kid was enuf for me!LOL

We pulled in teh driveway at 5:40 and thankfully I put a roast in the crock pot this morning so supper is done since we're just having salad as well. I'm not even hungry!LOL
