![]() A very nice day!A nice day. MOMS was nice and my friend had her baby! A 3rd girl! 10lbs8oz and 21.5 in long! But MOMS (she's the one who runs it so I just wondered around and acted like I knew what was going on!ROTFL!) went fine cuz the other lady seemed to know alot!LOL We have raffle tickets to sell. I've managed to sell 3 (they are $2/each or 3/$5) to one librarian and I think the other one would buy one. DH and I will probably buy 6 (yes, it's really just a donation). My goal is to sell 3 sheets--that would be $30. If we could all sell 3 sheets, that'd be about $300, which is HUGE. We'd easily hit our goal for the year. I'd like to have enuf to buy for the Angel Tree too. The food was really good too!LOL Someone said that their church was having a rummage sale and proceeds go to the town food pantry so I took the stuff I cleaned out from my cabinets there. Then we had lunch and I decided to try and see my friend and the baby. I wasn't sure cuz some hospitals are super picky about kids and mine are both healthy or I'd have never taken them. There was no one out front in the info booth so we wondered back to the patient rooms (I remembered where maternity was and this is not a big hospital) and found my OB and we had our normal banter and he did wind up giving up the room where she was staying.;) The baby was so cute! The dad is like a child at Christmas! So sweet! I didn't get to hold the baby so I mainly talked to my friend. She was tired, but happy.;) The boys were good too. Then off to library for HS and I did the older kids. I read the last half of Rikki Tikki Tavi. I checked out a couple of Rudyard Kipling books to read too. I think both boys will like them. Mat was totally into Rikki Tikki anyway. We settled on a couple of things I had questions about and left to run a couple more errands. I swung past hte pie place and got my dough sheets and Mat spotted the pumpkin chess pies for $1 so I let him get one. He loves them. Then to Aldi to get the half and half ot make pumpkin soup........YUMMY! I need to figure out when I'm going to make it now! And home. Everything is unloaded and put away. Oh the lady who called wanting my fake squeezo was a no show! She called asking if I could leave it there and her pick it up later this afternoon. I just hate bothering hte librarians like that. I told them to call me if she didn't come get it and I would come back and pick it up. Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 1169 of 1820 } { Next Page } |
