Not so great Saturday--but many blessings

And I"m EVER so grateful I do things ahead. I did Sunday School yesterday so tha'ts done, the cake was in the freezer and I remembered the partially used tub of icing int he frig and it was just the right amt to cover the cake.

I woke up w/a RAGING headache. It was BAD. I was trying not to throw up and Joey wasn't even being that bad, but any movement ont he bed nearly did me in. Finally Mat woke and took him downstairs and I was able to go back to sleep (DH had brought me a coke and I had drank part of it) until Jack Hanna came on!ROTFL! I'm sure the music is what woke me up, I thought I was ok and stood up and nearly lost it again. But I decided to stay up and try to do a few things. I ate and took a sinus pill and finished the coke so I"m optimistic. I also got the cake iced and made Mat pancakes. We're having that vegetable soup for supper so I'm basically done for the day.

HOWEVER, we are supposed to go the Civil War re-enactment today adn DH even agreed to go since we are going to wait until he gets off work!!!! So I really need to feel good! It's an hour ride one way. I just need to shake the headache........

Please pray it goes AWAY and that we can enjoy the day as a family! Very rare during busy harvests!
